Description
I am imagining the sort of garden areas that could exist on a large space station used as a transit station linking various space liners, a manufacturing facility, a tourist destination, and home to a fairly large population. In my mind any area used to grow food for consumption would also be made into an attractive garden both for the residents and for tourists. At least some would be in low or zero gravity areas, and plants there could be trained into amazing topiary shapes impossible elsewhere.
In my art I try to share the joy of creating beauty. The pieces are created and chosen to enhance either a residence or a business.
This generative or mathematical art is created using the high-level programming capability available in Artmatic and rendered in Artmatic Voyager. Linking together modules that represent mathematical components allows the creation of complicated formulae and beautiful images. Many of the mathematical systems I create represent chaotic regimes where the slightest change in the parameters can create vastly different results. The art you see here is the result of years of practice and experimentation learning to use Artmatic. Even after all these years there is still a wonderful element of chance and experimentation that enters.
