Judi Suni Hall and Muriel Roggensack were honored to have their 10 haiga portfolio "Retracing Footsteps" featured in the December 2012 issue of Haiga on Line, Winter Sun. After months of planning, designing, and working behind the scenes, Gingezel is delighted to be one of the small group of designers featured as Spoonflower introduces their designer wallpaper.
It has been fascinating to move from thinking of art as a feature in a room to using the colors, shapes, and patterns of wallpaper to create the mood, influence the light, and define the ambience of the space. With the direct digital printing technology used, the wallpaper becomes an extension of art.
Preparing for this launch has been quite an undertaking. Gingezel has provided 289 carefully chosen designs all with coordinating fabric to add finishing touches to the decor. The 10 natural fabrics include a marvelous silk cotton blend, cotton twill, linen cotton canvas, and quilting cotton.

The January/February 2012 issue of Sketchbook was released today, and we are pleased to have three haiga featured. Two are collaborations between Judi and Don, using Don's photography. One is Judi's using one of her generative art landscapes.
It is a richly creative issue with 85 authors/artist from 20 countries, and it is an honor to be among them.
There is also a feature on our sci-fi e-books, "Gingezel 1:The Limit" and "Gingezel 2:Bad to Worse". This is the novel series that inspires both our sci-fi landscapes and Judi's sci-fi abstracts.
